CALGARY, AB - To meet growing meeting and convention needs in Western Canada, FMAV recently announced several additions and promotions to their team.. “The Calgary meeting market is rebounding and stronger than ever. I am absolutely thrilled to have this team by my side as we jump into our busy season” said Cornforth.
This summer has been a particularly busy time in Calgary, with the announcement of new additions and promotions in the Western Region, starting with the appointment of Mark Della Valle to the role General Manager, Calgary. With over 13 years working in audiovisual in leadership roles, Mark brings a deep expertise in his field and immense knowledge of his market.
“With Mark at the helm, FMAV Calgary has seen major growth in the Alberta market and we look toward the bright path ahead. We anticipate great things as Mark takes on a more senior role,” said Neil MacNeil, Vice President, Western Canada.
A familiar face to FMAV customers, Oliver Knaus takes on the role of National Director of Sales for Western Region (British Columbia and Alberta). Oliver has a proven track record of sales success, having previously led most of the FMAV sales team members in Vancouver, Calgary & Edmonton over the last 18 months.
Jeff Wilson joins the FMAV Calgary office as Account Manager, Jeff has spent over 10 years in the Audiovisual industry, first as a technician with AVW-Telav, then as Account Executive for over 5 years. His strong people skills and responsive nature helped him achieve an impressive book of business.
In addition, Travis Nelson joins FMAV as Project Manager. Travis has a long history in theatre and most recently in the meetings and events industry with Productions Canada. Travis brings with him strong organizational skills, and a fresh perspective on the management of technical logistics.
